Every room has a “Sponsored” rail on the right. Anyone signed in can put an ad there, self-serve — no approval step, no account manager.
Placing an ad
- Open the room you want to advertise in (the rail shows on wide screens).
- Click Advertise in #roomat the bottom of the rail. You'll need to be signed in.
- Pick a size and how long it runs, then write a headline and the link to send people.

Ads run for 1 day, 1 week, 30 days.
What happens next
- Free · Text ads go live the moment you submit. You can have one live free ad per room at a time.
- Paid · Large ads ($5/day) take you to a secure Stripe checkout. The ad appears in the rail as soon as payment goes through; if you cancel checkout, nothing is charged and nothing is posted.
- Paid ads sit above free ones in the rail, newest first.
Managing an ad you've placed
Ads are set once and run on their own. There's no dashboard to edit, pause, or delete an ad yourself — each one stays up until its run ends, then drops out of the rail automatically. There's nothing to cancel and no renewal.
- Change or take down an ad: email support@ever.chatwith the room and the ad's headline. Our team can edit its content, change when it ends, or remove it, and the room updates right away.
- Run it again: once it ends, place a new ad the same way.
- Refunds: paid ads are generally non-refundable — see section 5 of our Terms of Service.
Who sees what
Your ad's content is public to everyone in the room. Who bought it and what they paid are never shown.
